My Stiffed on a Tip Waiter wants to talk to you about something, and that something is;
Conversational Etiquette
That's right. I'm sure you've noticed over your various visits to here and other chatrooms, that sometimes you enter into a chat, and there's perhaps, let's say, 4 people. Now, you watch for a little bit, and notice that all 4 people are in a deep conversation. You then decide to "barge in". ie;
KingofDarkness-"I know, Victini's a pain in the ass to catch"
The Ram-"Really? I caught it in a Great Ball... After 3 resets. xp"
RVal74-"I haven't bothered to get Black or White, not a priority for me."
KoD-"Yeah, but it's worth the $40, if you do decide to get it. I'm at Castellia."
Riku22-"KoD: Hah, I'm in Gear City, just beat a Battle Subway Challenge from Nimbasa! oFTo"
The Ram-"Wait, really? I'm working on the Challenge, but I'm already as far as Chargestone Cave. Ram-1, People-0. ^FT^"
FlipFreak9-"Hi peepz."
RVal74-"Well, if you say so... I guess I'll get White. I'm gonna keep beating you, Ram! >:{D"
The Ram-"BLASPHEMY! I finally have an advantage!"
FlipFreak9-"... Hello?"
Riku22-"I just evolved my Oshowatt to the 3rd form! YAY!"
FlipFreak9-"U no what, [BYPASS] you guys!"

Now, that was completely made up, as none of us have all been in a ChatRoom at the same time lately. But, do you see my point? We were in the middle of a conversation, and FlipFreak9 kept trying to get our attention, eventually getting a little bit worked up.
How to Prevent
For those entering a chat with a heavy conversation:
-Try to see if the people are randomly blathering, or if they're directly sticking to one subject.
-If the latter, try to go to another room.
-If the former, join in the... Blathering.
People involved in deep conversations:
-If someone enters, don't just curse them out. Perhaps ask if they want to join the conversation, although this entirely optional.
-Perhaps try asking if they could leave politely, so that no one gets angry, and you can continue your conversation.
-If they don't leave, and are still bugging you, perhaps try using the /pm [member] command, to move to another room.
That's all I have to say, I know it's a bit jumbled, but, hopefully you get the gist. I look forward to debating/arguing with you on this, so please, comment your opinion.
