You jump off the couch and run upstairs and the whole time think, “YESSSS! SOMETHING EXCITING!!” You pass your mom in the living room. She has an awe-struck face. That gets you even more curious of what’s out there. You arrive at your front door and hesitate for a moment but force yourself to open it and sitting right there in your front yard, as clear as day, a huge space ship about as big as your front lawn. Not human-made, and not like anything you’ve ever seen before. You think of every alien space ship you’ve seen in movies, TV and every book illustration you saw as a kid. It’s nothing like those and way beyond description. Looks like just about every artist that ever drew a UFO was wrong about what it looked like. There are a bunch of your neighbors in a circle around it but there seemed to be an invisible, forbidden circle about 5 yards from the ship where no one dared to stand. You see a few red figures cautiously approaching the ship and trying to stay out of sight. Probably just some little kids investigating. Suddenly there was a sound of air being released, and a hatch on the side opened. A few people looked inside only to see a long white, streamlined hall with nothing in it. Everyone waited and waited for something to happen…nothing did. After all this waiting I couldn’t stand still.
