You’re feeling adventurous today so you decide you want to explore the ship and maybe find something interesting. You walk towards the circle of people. A few of them move out of the way, they were expecting you to take a spot in the circle and stare at the ship. When you move closer to the ship, everyone feels uneasy about it especially you. A few people try to talk you out of it but it didn’t work. You were prepared to have a grand adventure and lose everything if you had to. You reach the hatch, which doubled as a walkway into the ship. The white hallway is made up of lighted panels; every panel had its own light source in it so the hallway was very bright. As you take your first step into the hallway you notice your footsteps make a loud, echoing clack sound. With every step you take you get a more and more strange feeling. The sound of your shoes on the floor makes you sure someone or something can hear you. As you get about halfway through the hall you notice one of the panels on the left of you is offset a bit and its light is flickering. You move it a little more and you see a dimly lit corridor. The bright light of the hallway is messing with your vision so you can’t see what’s down there very well. All you can hear is a BOOM…BOOM…BOOM. It is very exact with its tempo. Almost machine like.
