You look deep into the alien’s dark eyes and see a feeling of genuine terror. A sudden universal trust clicked between you and him and you put the things on and walk back over to him. He reaches up and flips a switch on them and says in a raspy voice, “now…you can understand. The …tank…hanging….behind…me” He seemed to be weaker than before. You rush to grab the tank and hand it to the alien. The tank was about the size of a spray paint can and had a tube running from it to a small button. The alien pressed the button and a bubble started to form. When it was big enough, he pushed his head into it and took a big breath in and out. His veins started glowing brightly. He gets up with a slight limp and walks towards a door way. He motions for you to follow. Your reasoning skills kick in and you follow him. You walk down hall and pass many doors on the way. From one door you hear some very familiar voices. Is that the Beatles? You think to yourself. “Yes it is” says the alien “we intercepted a few radio waves in deep space and decided we liked the sound.” You can faintly hear Come Together in the background as you scream in your head. HE CAN READ MINDS?!?! The alien laughed and said “No, I can’t but I can interpret electrical signals and that’s what your brain uses to communicate thoughts among other things to other parts of your brain.” “Oh” you say awkwardly. You’re silent the whole rest of the walk. You find yourself in a room. Not just any room. It’s filled with things. They must be alien technology because one, you don’t know what they are and two, you can’t describe them. You stand there, your mouth wide open in marvel.” To repay you for saving my life, I will give you knowledge which you can share with your planet or not if you choose to” says the alien. All you can manage to say is “woahwoaohow.” What a great moment, you are to be given alien knowledge to possibly spring the earth into a bright future. You eye the door and think about home. “You may return home of you want, I can’t force this knowledge upon. You must want it for it to be learned”
