If you've ever been on this website, it's likely that you've been in a chatroom. And if you've ever been in a chatroom, it's likely you've seen the banlist.
Well if you have not, it's a list of all the active 24-hour bans that includes the name of the banned user and the reason why they were banned. That information is provided by the chat admin who bans that particular user.
Now, the purpose of the banlist is to educate. A simple, easy "skull and crossbones" that warns users against doing certain things.
However, I find it progressively common that a user will be banned before their content is removed. I am sure that the admins do not do this purposefully, but because it is easier. My point is that if the reason is displayed before the content is removed, the tendency of the average user is to go check out that content--exactly not what should be happening. For example, if a user is banned for an inappropriate painting and the ban reason states, "Inappropriate painting, paintmin please delete", it can be inferred that the painting is still viewable.
The solution is pretty obvious: chat admins who ban for reasons such as those should somehow get that content deleted before they ban and post an explicit description.
Just my take on how a part of the banning process here on SDK should take place.
