Suddenly, he jumped on me and squeezed so tightly that I couldn't even breathe. "BUDDY! I've missed you like you wouldn't believe!"

I struggled to escape, and then when I did, I took a few very quick steps back.

"Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. Hold up there," I said. "Who are you?"

"Don't you remember me?"

"No, aside from my name, the fact that I'm an Umbreon, and a dream about looking at the purple eyes of an Eevee, I can't remember anything."
