Part two of chapter one
DISCLAIMER: i do not own alice in wonderland or any of the characters. If i did, i'd be pretty damn rich. This is just a fanfic.

I was falling. Falling down a hole filled with endless darkness, never ending, nothing but dark. I was falling fast, fearing what would happen when I reached the bottom. Falling, nothing else. I blacked out.


I opened my eyes slowly, colors swimming across my vision, settling slowly into shapes. I looked around the room I found myself in. The room had a reoccurring theme of checkered patterns and the colors black, white, and red. There weren’t any doors except for a small door that was just big enough for a small animal to slip through. A small table and two chairs sat in the center of the room. A small glass bottle was on the top of the table. I stumbled towards the table, dizzy, and picked up the bottle, reading the handwritten label. It said:
Drink me: I’ll help you feel better
I pulled the stopper out of the bottle and peered at the liquid inside. The contents were clear and odorless like water. Curious but still cautious, I took a small sip. The liquid was sweet and floral, not unlike rose water. I drank the rest of the liquid and, as promised, my dizziness began to fade. However, a burning sensation took up residence in the pit of my stomach, and it felt as if I were being burned alive from the inside out. My skin tightened and it felt as if my head was about to explode. Then I began to shrink…
