Savii im trying to help my friend tell everyone about autism because my best friend got bullied just because she has autism and she is a good friend but that not the point im trying to give what im trying to say is that we need to help everyone that has autism and help anyone that has a disability because their life is really hard and if you care you about people with a disability then dont turn them down in there time of needs just because there different.




facts about autism

1) autism now affets 1 in 110 children and 1 in 70 boys

2) more children weill be diagnosed with autism this year then with AIDS, diabetes and cancer combined

3)autism is the fastest-growing serious developmental disability in the united states

4) boys are four times more likely then girls to have autism

5) there is no medical detection or cure for autism


so please dont hurt ur friends or other people because they might have autism and if they do then help them out and stick up for them if they get bullied because as my friend gianna said it " having friends is a wounderful thing" and if you want to know more about autism then plz go to this web site(www.AutismSpeaks.org)

i was diagnosed with adhd,which stands for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder for those that don't know, and the reason was i ate pencil lead in first grade and im 15 going on 16 now

I have a friend with this condition and hes awesome! he has nunchucks and hes talented. Mostly people with any condition has a gift...as in memory recall, their strength is amazing ect...so thats why people shouldnt bully them.

Autism is genetic. It is inherited, thus it is genetic.

@Tia: It is in the genes. Just because something is in your, err, "programming", aka, genes/dna, doesn't mean it's active. It could be triggered, like an allergy. Now, it's a bit more comlicated, but, that's the basiis...

As serious as autism can be, I agree with the Ram here. People should just be happy and concentrate on the positive sides of each other instead of constantly aiming for perfection.

Clearly, we can't leave other beings alone, especially the parents, I'm talking about... They can't have their precious little child be "flawed", aka; Unique... Sorta. Point is, we came up with a drug that does NOTHING [Ritalin] and make money off those morons who need to have a trophy child, not a kid.

Uhh that thing that says more people have autism than cancer, diabetes, and aids combined can't be true because 1 in 10 adults have diabetes, which is more than 1 in 110

It IS in genes, actually. You contradicted yorself there, Tia. You don't "just get it", that would qualify it as a disease. It could be hereditary, skipping a Generation or two, then striking once more...

Hmm... I agree, it's kinda depressing to watch Autistic people get made fun of, but, really, some people I know milk sympathy, and use it as an excuse. However, that's just one person.

I highly doubt that it can be higher than AIDS, Diabetes, AND Cancer combined. More than Diabetes alone! In this Country, anyway. You need to clarify, Worldwide, or in a certain Nation?

Anyway, as Halli said, fix Punctuation AND Grammar, Spelling seems fine...

Im always confused with dieases like this... do you find later like 10-18 yr old- or are you born with it?

I like this blog because bullying MUST STOP not just with diabled people but everyone in general.

my mom read about it earlier, here's a summary, if you're smart, you might have autism, if you're stupid, you might have autism -.- are you 100% sure ALL the kids with "autism" actually have it? :/
