Lately I've been seeing many blogs and HD questions about some admins (including me) being "immature".

This is getting more annoying than UNCE itself. Admins are allowed to have fun too, provided we can control the situation if it gets out of hand.
Occasionally, a few admins will host a short spamming-spree. Whether it's UMOISTBRO or UNCE, and every time I've attended/hosted/watched these sprees, they only last a second, and are carefully controlled. As long as the other members listen to the admin, I see nothing wrong with these short rewards for being good members. (my latest spree was spamming hearts).

No, this doesn't mean you can go around and start spamming UNCE UNCE UNCE or NYAN (LOVE that cat, btw. That video made my day). The way I see it; admins are allowed to have fun, and are allowed to give out these short rewards, provided they are not abused.

The other thing, a few terminators, again, including me, are doing quite a few prank bans. Like Jabinator's famous pink-streak ban

Again, the terminators know what they are doing, and again, there's nothing wrong about it, provided it isn't abused.

I understand there are quite a few mature admins on here. And that's great! We need a few of those. It makes us fun admins look better

jk. But seriously, noo need to be stuck up about this. HB hasn't a problem, otherwise we would've been deadmined long ago. So why should you have a problem?

Anyways, just thought I would share my thoughts on this.

Admins aren't special. They've just been given a job to do. It doesn't make them any better than regular users.

My philosophy is: if a user can get banned for it, so can an admin. Otherwise it's fair to nobody.

Joke bans, on the other hand... Many of my Terminator friends do these. While they can be funny, they can also be taken out of context by the right user (or admin). This is my main problem with these. But I suppos if they're ok with Hull, they're ok with me.

Yes, I've lost my terminator TEMPORARILY for unrelated reasons. HB said I will get them back shortly if I prove worthy. And so far I think I'm doing a great job ^^ -cough-

This blog has nothing to do with this temporary relief. I just had a rant in my head I needed to lift off my chest, and I have plenty more of them, don't you worry

Also, I think that there should be a PREDETERMINED set of rules to be changed as needed to prevent disputes on rules and unfair bans.

If people have a problem with my joke bans.. I'll stop. But JUST to clarify, I only ban as a joke, if asked to do so and I only do it maybe once a day... IF that. But meh, whatever. I'll stop if people have such a problem with it.

Hmm. It's not "fun admins" that I have a problem with. It's hypocritical admins. How can you ban a member for saying UNCE when you just finished posting UNCE a dozen times? Sure, you say admins can have fun if they want. I think they should be able to have fun. But do you see cops speeding down a street just because they want to have fun? Admins are chosen for being responsible. Does that mean adminship is the "Get Out of Jail Free Card" of DSiPaint? Sure, we joke around about "CN I B ADMIN SO I CN SYBR NO GET BANED", but it IS happening all around us. Of course, not on the level of cybering. It's only minor spamming. But banning? That's too far. Sure, it's a joke. Do cops throw you in jail and say "LOL YOU'RE IN JAIL" as a joke? I think you admins need to stop and consider your roles on here. You're supposed to be mature role models. The noobs learn from you. If an admin can spam, why can't I? Sure, you can be "fun." But is spamming really that fun? UNCE UNCE UNCE. Wow, that was highly entertaining. I seems more immature than fun. What if I'm an admin? Can I go around dropping F-Bombs and saying "Ah ha ha! I'm not REALLY dropping F-Bombs! I'm only JOKING! I'm a FUN admin!" Is that how it works? Hmm.

I've already made my opinion on the HelpDesk as a complaint, just the fact that HullBreach doesn't mention anything about that at all doesn't mean you can.

Heck, Terminators could perma old members that haven't been on for a long time and when nobody noticed this it's all good.

But, in this case WE notice it all. We complain about it because we're quite tired of the noisance admins/members use. This has nothing to do with a threat for the admins for their oh-so-hard work so they can have a little "FUN". If that is really those people's kind of fun, I call it immature.

Sometimes non-admins seem to be very uptight about things like this, I know what you mean.. I don't mind as long as it's not an extreme amount of spam or whatever they're doing. As long as we're allowed to sometimes, too xD. This website is supposed to be fun.

Hmm... I've no comment. I just don't like the admins who then criticize someone who tosses an "UNCE" in, then gets a !WARNING RAM!.
