Seth here, starting a new app review series. Every week I will review one app. This app could be one that I have on my itouch, or one that someone suggests in the comments. Please note that while you're making a suggestion that:
-I will not review any Jail-broken exclusive apps(Mxtube, for example)
-I will not interview any really poPular apps, like Angry Birds, Doodle Jump, etc. I want to review apps that not every person has.
So to start off this series, I will interview the app Words with Friends!
App: Words With Friends
Price:
-$2.99, or,
-$0.00(with pop-up ads)
Description: Words with Friends is essentially Internet Scrabble. People take turns making words out of the letters they have on a board. You sign in by using your Facebook, or just your email address. It automatically gives you a username, but you can change it at your leisure in the settings. When you click, "Create Game" you can create a game by:
-Connect to a random opponent
-Search a username to battle
-Battle a Facebook friend
-Choose someone from your contact list(IPhone/Android/Smart Phone)
-Grab a friend and you both play on your device
Drawbacks: Though this app is extremely fun, it depletes your battery. And usually, it takes awhile for your device to notify you of an opponents move.
Advantages: This app is a very casual way to play Scrabble. You can take as long as you want, and there's also a chatbox so you can converse with your opponent! Also, you can hold as many games at once as you want. Usually, I play about 6 games at the same time.
If you wan to battle me, click "Create Game", press "Username", and search derpherp7. And I use this username for it's sister app, Chess with Friends.
All in all, I really love this app and I suggest to any smart phone user!
