Hello members of DSiPaint...and WiiOperaSDK and 3DSPaint, but mostly the first one.
I've been somewhat-what's the word-alarmed at the degree of hostility I've seen festering on the site as of late. A lot of it has to do with what seems to be a re-occuring cycle of blogs: AdminsWhat Admins do wrong, Religion/Creationism vs. Evolution, and the like. Now, while I'm (and many others probably) all for thought provoking blogs which widen one's perspective, but often (not all) times it seems these blogs are nothing more than a focal point for users to voice (type?) their collective dissatisfaction or anger.
Come on guys (girls too, I guess ), we all (I am not excluded) need to try and shape up. I realize that not everyone is at fault for this ill will, but we can all try to get our ♪Kum Bay Ya♪ on and edge out some of the hostility that is seemingly wedging apart the unity of the site. Then there's the compromising of user accounts by some miscreant earlier today (which Hull appears to have fixed), which I find saddening.
Remember, Danny has made and continually improved this great site for we the people users, and it doesn't look like it will stop here (PROOF).
Now, I don't know about y'all (Texan habit), but I'm game for enjoying some leisurely time on this website in my spare time this summer. My experience with DSiPaint in the summertime is that it's always a great time to hang out with your friends and just have a good time.
As my good friend Mario would say (well, Charles Martinet anyway), "LET'S-A-GO!!! WAHOOO!!"
Oh, and it's Memorial Day here in the United States.
Congratulations, good sir! You've broken the Cycle by addressing every "taboo" subject in one Blog! Here's the key to the secret dead portion of the site!
Joking aside, I disagree. As far as I've seen, all of mine and RoD's Evolution Vs. Creation Blogs have had some more respectful arguments and debates than just fighting.
Thumbs up for a valiant effort, but I still semi-disagree.
And yes, Dude Guy, you've found the heart of the irony.
@ray I don't believe the hostility is tolerable. o.o That was the whole premise of my writing this blog, that the hostility was getting kind of out of hand. While Admins can solve some things, there are by no means a panacea.
