I used this on my profile and its an extra thing you can have on your profile to make it look a bit better.

having a link to your email allows people to click on your email to automatically send a message, or add you to their contacts. this is the code for it.

Result:
[a=mailto:example@something.com"]Email Me![/a]

you can add a pre-set subject for when someone clicks on the link. you can also set the content of the email.
