Nyan Cat is one of those, "epicly awesome" Internet sensations you discover. All it is is a poptart with a head and four legs. And a rainbow trailing from it. And a REALLY catchy tune.

It all started with the official website. The webpage is just a screen with Nyan Cat trailing a rainbow. Awesome music is heard. There is a second counter, to see how long you can, "NYAN". You can Tweet your score. But it's not much of a challenge, since the song is pretty addicting. I went for around 2000 once.0-0. To visit, go to nyan.cat.

And now, they developed a game for the damn cat! It's for both the computer and Itouch/Android. What it is is a moving platform based game where you control Nyan Cat as he jumps from platform from platform collecting milk, ice cream, etc. And the music plays endlessly. You lose if you drop to Earth, since this takes place in Space. There are multiple power-ups to collect:

-Magnet. Attracts all food near you to you. Major points.

-Pill. Makes the screen look trippy. Nyan Cat goes faster and the music changes.

-Super-Nyan. Nyan can now fly. Control him with your mouse pointer/finger.

-Rocket-Nyan. See,"Super-Nyan"

-Bubble. You can go as high as you want, instead of just double-jumping.

Remember, the power-ups only last for a limited time!

There are also multiple enemies scattered about. Running into them causes you to falter, which makes it so you cant jump. So yeah, pretty good game overall. It's totally addiciting, and induces competition.

But every game always has it's faults. Nyan-Cat has limited jumping abilities, so losing can be easy sometimes. If you collect, Magnet, for example, and collected Bubble by accident, then it will automatically switch over to Bubble. I would have like for the Magnet to run out first, then for the Bubble to start up. And another thing. It's too easy. It would be much mote challenging if Nyan-cat went faster as you progressed. But I digress. (Epic Rhym right there).
