「The next morning」

The boy finally woke up. He laid there contemplating everything that had happened yesterday. He looked towards the stained blood and let out a small sigh.
Suddenly his door flew open at a record breaking speed. On the other side of the door was...his mother..
"Kiru Aiden Chiyoko, YOU'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" She yelled
He quickly glared over to the clock and realized it was 9am.
"It'll be OK" He tried to mumble, but his mother had grabbed his arm and yanked him out of his bed.
"C'MON" She yelled running out the room and down the hall towards the bathroom. Being used to his hyper active mother, he allowed her to drag him effortlessly.
"Mom..." He begged.
"Hurry and get ready!" She screamed shoving him into the bathroom.
Kiru walked over towards the sink with a moderate pace. He glared into the mirror. He looked rather fine, compared to last night. His hair was shaggy and brown. His eyes could have been mistook for water.He looked croocked into the mirror as his image changed inside the mirror.It was a demon, it had on a white mask and his teeth were bared.
Kiru quickly splashed water into his face. When he decided it was a good time, he looked into the mirror..He was fine.
Kiru brushed his hair and teeth. He also figured a quick shower wouldn't hurt.
He threw on a pair of jeans and walked out of the bathroom. Kiru looked both ways hoping not to have to face his mother a second time. He tip toed out of the bathroom and then took a run for the stairs. He reached the stairs and slid down the railing, trying to get out as quick as possible.
Kiru sprinted to the door and quickly pushed it open. He took a seat on the concrete steps of the porch, and began digging into his book bag. Kiru pulled out a piece of paper and started to jot a note. It read ; "Dear mom, I left for school. Please don't worry I'll be OK. Lots of love, Kiru. xoxo
