Ok, the latest game for the VC, Donkey Kong, has been released today.
It costs $3.96 USD.
In my opinion, it was a waste of my money, since the game is too easy to beat (unless you're not a Donkey Kong expert, like I am). But it is nice to have a gameboy game that has 3 slots for saving for once.
Do I recommend it? Not really. But that's just me.
A little about the game:
Donkey Kong was originally an arcade game released in 1981 for NES, a successor to the money-machine arcade game.
It was released for Gameboy on 1995, and Gameboy Color on 1998.
The game starts off as the classic arcade stage as seen on the jukebox machines, but when finished with the level, you have 100 more to beat.
Like I said, I could play the original arcade ALL day and win each time. I was a pro, and had a high score defended for almost a year in the Winfield Arcade, but lost to some nerd who sounds like a pig when he laughs. Reminded me of a white Urkle. Only more annoying.
Well, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being best, I give it a 5 or 6.
hmmm, well I played this back when it was released on the grey brick. It was an awesome puzzle-action platformer that was well worth $30 back then. If graphics don't need to be hi-fidelity for you to enjoy a game, this eshop version is totally worth four bucks.
