I opened my eyes and looked around “Wha-? Where am i?” I thought to myself squinting as the harsh lights beamed at my eyes.

Shortly after my eyes open, i saw my parents at the foot of the bed. “Mmm-” i was cut off by my dad, “No dont talk, you have a feeding tube in your throat, you have been unconience since March. “I know your confuzed hun, but your mother and i will tell you everything we know, maybe it will jolt your memory.”

“On March 8th you went out with a couple of your friends, dad began.” You said you would be back by no later then 11..” Your mother and i sat up untill you came home, but you never did. ” We were worried, so we tried calling all your friends parents, they had no idea where or what you guys were doing. ” Shortly after that we recievd a call from the highway patrol, they said your car haad been hit, they had said a drunk driver had weaved over the median and into your lane, hitting the passenger side, thhe side you were in.” My eyes widened in disbelief to what my dad was saying. “As soon as the car hit you guys they thought was soon as it hit you were dead, in fact they were sure, but they were wrong, as soon as you got to the hospital the doctor took scans of your brain and bones, she said your skull had not been fractured but you leg may have to be removed, they took you into surgery the following day,” I looked down at the sheets, seeing nothing but my leg and a hump.
