Do you know what your eating? Read this article on factory farming to find out the truth about how meat is produced in factories! Factory farms are factories that farm livestock so they can be produced as meat in groceries. The animals in factory farms usually die as adolescenes but they still go through a harsh and painful death. Animals usually get put in dirty smelly small cages with a lot of other animals their species.Due to the cage's small size and since the cage is usually crowded, many animals die in suffocation. Animals can barely move and breathe in them. The cages usually arn't well cleaned so feces are all over them. Animals also breed in those cages! Animals that don't die in suffocation are usually force fed to death to death with feeding tubes shoved down their throat or slit by the throat in slaughterhouses. There are many ALIVE animals that hang upside down from machines, struggling to free in slaughterhouses until of course, they're slain. In the factories, people grab a handful of hatched baby chicks and dump them roughly down a machine. The meat that we eat that were produced in farm factories are also kind of unhealthy. In farm factories, animals grow and reproduce unnaturally with drugs and chemicals. For example people inject steriods into chicken so they can grow big for their size unnaturally. Hormones are also put in cows so they can grow faster. Animals are forced to breed in factories. They have to get chemicals put in them so they can reproduce babies faster than normal. With pigs, their newborns are taken away after two days they were born. There are such thing as free-range meat and eggs but they are very expensive. The reason why not all animals can be free ranged and cheap is because everyone will buy it and the food industry will make more money out of having both non-free ranged products that are cheap and free-ranged products that are expensive.

Most animals are factory farmed not naturally! Some meat companies advertize labels that have the word "farm" and have a "farmhouse" picture on it but it does NOT mean they are actual farms! Those labels are used to trick customers buying their products!
P.S.Free ranged means animals that were NOT kept in cages! The ones that roamed free and wern't factory farmed.
