Hello world ^_^
I got bored and realized that I haven't written a blog in forever, so I've decided to write about a topic that's been on my mind lately... STRAIGHT PEOPLE!
Straight people, also know as heterosexuals, have always intrigued me because somehow they manage to have relationships with people of the opposite gender. I've never understood why they do this because it seems to me that they get along with and feel more comfortable around the same gender. Most men don't really understand womens emotions, why they get crazy once a month, there need to own 20 pairs of shoes, or why they cover themselves with makeup every day, but other women do. On the other hand most women don't understand mens laziness, or there love of violence, or why they don't understand womens problems, but other men do. So why exactly are they interested in the opposite sex?
Straight people also fight... a lot. Have you ever heard about heated legal battles between gay couples? No. Do you ever see in the news "Man convicted of murdering husband" or do you hear about 2 women in a heated custody battle? No you don't and I think that's because people in general understand there own gender better than the opposite and therefore don't fight as much with the same gender. I personally have only gotten into one fight with one of my boyfriends... actually 2 if you count the playful fight me and my current boyfriend had about whose cuter (he's cuter).
The last thing I don't understand about straight people is why they've made our marriage rights there business. First of all the only thing that not allowing us to marry is doing is putting a financial burden on us because we have to file taxes individually. Now let me stop here and say that from my own experiences I have found that most of the people who oppose gay marriage oppose it due to there religion. Now let's head over to the constitution of the united states. It clearly states that in government we are to practice the separation of church and state. Now if we put all this together we have the conclusion that people are against gay marriage because of religion but if they are following the constitution of the united states then from a legal viewpoint they should just accept it and worry about more important matters like poverty, or world hunger.
Well, that's about it. Wow... I think that may have be come a little rantish... and its also 2:15 in the morning... yay ^_^. Anyways I don't think that made much sense... oh well. Maybe I'll wrote something else random tommorow... you know I always spell tommorow with two Ms and one R, and I actually know that its really supposed to be tomorrow, but it feels more natural to type tommorow on my phone rather than tomorrow.
I just realized I'm about to start writing more random stuff and I really need to stop... so I guess I will.
Goodbye world ^_^
