I'm going to review Need for Speed Nitro for ds handhelds as it's said in the title of this blog unless you stumbled into this blog or random clicked it, which is highly likely. But lets begin, shall we?
Controls:
The Standard controls of which are, Steer=Control pad, Accelerate=A button, Drift=L button, Nitro=R button, Brake/Reverse=B button, and you can change the song by pressing select. Not to hard to get used too and you can switch to the Shoulder Pedal layout if you prefer it over the standard.
Rateing: 9/10
Graphics:
The cars are rather designed out nicely, the effect from when or if you crash could be (much) better, but they're decently done.
Rateing: 7/10
Game modes:
You have the Race now where you can press X and choose a car that you unlocked from career mode, same thing with the tracks. Then you have Career mode where you can choose your difficulty (Higher difficulties need to be unlocked) and then choose a country where you start your world domination! By the way each country has more then one track of which to choose from but all need to be completed to advance.
Each track can be a different kind of race, all-in-all there's ten different kinds of races. Circuit, Knockout, Sprint, Check-point, Tag countdown, Tagpoint, Tag 'em all, Smash countdown, Smashpoint, and Smash 'em all.
Rateing: 9/10
Music:
There's multiple different songs you can listen too while you race, they vary in type of music so you should find one you like, the quality of it is very clear.
Rateing: 10/10
You can re-play this game multiple times and not get bored, the final rateing would be 8.5/10. This game was very well thought out and as a result it's very fun.
Oh, my brother used to play Need For Speed:Most Wanted. But on a PS2. He was really good at it,and addicted. Unfortunately, he gave away his ps2, to some little boys. Which was nice, except for the fact that now i can't play my old video games on a ps2. But, now i got a ps3. So it's ok. I guess. So yeah. Need For Speed is a good game.
