I ran home an immediately turned it on and set everything up. The box exclaimed: 1000 Free DSi Points!
Naturally, one would want to redeem these points, so I did. Unfortunately, I had only four different title to choose from.
The one I chose was:
Warioware: Snapped!
Released: April 5th, 2010
The story of this Warioware game sets you in Wario's wacky theme park where you can choose from 4 different "roller coasters" (level) each with their own mascot and surprise at the end.
There is also a bonus "level", but I'll get to that later.
Gameplay:
Obviously Nintendo wanted to showcase the camera's abilities with this game, as that is what you use to play.
How exactly?
You have to put your self against a plain background that will contrast, then have the DSi take a picture.
You use your body as the controller, represented by a pixelated shadow on the screen.
Unfortunately, this is a very tempremental game, and will only allow the picture to be taken unless the lighting provides enough contrast. Even then, you shadow sometimes comes out warped and incorrect, causing you to fail the levels.
As stated before, there are four level, each containing four random stages:
Wario (1P) At the end, the DSi plays back your ridiculous actions so you can see how you looked.
Jimmy: (1P) At the end, one picture taken from each stage is inserted into one of ten different storyboards/comics.
Mona: (1P) At the end, a picture from each stage has an accessory added to it. These ranged from hats to sunglasses, and even bearda!
The Twins(2P) I've only done to 2P level once, as it's rather awkward to attempt. I believe the ending is similar to Warios.
Hidden Level 5, aka The Credits (1 Player) Possibly the most redeeming level is the credits, where you lean your head left and right to steer a coaster train through outer space. To earn points, you collect the credits.

Short, okay: 7/10
