remote racers is...well, a racing game. it's a downloadable dsiware game..which is good, considering I wouldn't have payed any more than I did. this game is not good. first off, your car is incredibly hard to maneuver, and I found myself constantly over-compensating. hitting a wall or another driver will cause you to spin out wildly or bounce of in another direction violently, and it is almost impossible to steady yourself in time to have a chance of winning tha race. driving in water is even worse. i found myself coming out of a turn in water and drifting far off to the other direction. secondly, power-ups. only 3? really? a homing rocket, a mine, (that deploys delayed; your car holds it somewhat like in mariokart) and nitro. how original. there could have been at least a few more, or something interesting. third, if you lower the handling of the cars, adapt the tracks. they don't work with the level of control the cars have. I found I was turning prematurely, or onto grass...or slamming into walls sideways. coupled with other drivers, it's h3ll trying to manuver.
on a better note, there are 8 different drivers (6 to unlock) and plenty of tracks.
