I sit in the corner of a room, not a single spec of light,
I start to pant with every breath, and I clutch my throat in fright
Where are you? Are you there? I wish you were around,
But no you left me behind, to scream with no sound
I trusted you! I loved you! were you too blind to see?
No, you don't see at all you were everything to me..
I slowly start to close my eyes, and my breath slips away
I want you here with me but you didn't want to stay
All I can do is sit, and try to scream and cry,
And to think, all I wanted to do was try..
But I tried to hard, and brought you and I to tears,
And now here comes my end, the greatest of my fears
I sit alone in this room, without any spec of light,
And I breathe no more, just a dead prisoner in the night..
