Well I have to rewrite this all. I'll probally be missing some of what I said before. Anyways..
I noticed there has been a recent uprising use of CSS codes and BBcodes in the bulletin boards. It's ok if you use them on your own thread but aslong as your intent ain't on blinding us with a bright yellow text of sorts. Same with backgrounds and so on. But don't change the backgrounds on every thread you see or feel needs a different background. It's disrespectful to the other bulletin board users.
Ok now on to the main problem, I have also noticed recently users using disabling codes. Such as a code to disable comment boxes, similiar to a lock as to prevent further commenting.
There been other codes being used like a code to disable the whole page of a thread. Do not use these codes unless you have permission from a BBmin, if you claim to have asked and they said your allowed too, then some proof would be nice. Since we can't just believe your word.
Now before you go use that styling code on those threads, here I got a excellent idea. Tell thus thread to a BBmin and maybe they will lock it as it's job, not yours. Just because you think the thread should be locked doesn't mean it'll get locked. I don't think that's too hard to understand?
If you think using these codes help the BBmins or threads, here's the truth. They don't contrary to your belief. Hopefully the use of these codes don't increase.
This was an issue with profiles. Anyone could 'style' profiles through the comments. We all know what they would of been able to do from the advanced css blog.
I wouldn't want it disabled, it's a change that's been awaited for so long since we can source things and what not... These guys always ruin things that we get.
