I have suggested this as a request in the Help Desk. I'm also saying it and suggesting it in thus blog as the blogs are open to a wider range of people and feedback is always nice, no?
Ok now onto the topic.
I was thinking when viewing the threads and forums awhile ago in the BB's that a certain new forum would be quite usefull.
I seen people post threads on books, sports, and stuff entertainment related in the Current events forum. They have been posted in the miscellaneous forum as that is the only forum these types of threads could go under.
So I thought that a forum for entertainment could be deemed as worthy of being added to the forums we got now. So users that use the bulletin boards could post threads about anything from new movies to books in a forum where they would belong.
A Entertainment forum would be used a lot as it can hold a wide varity of, well, entertaining topics.
So would you like to see this happen or do you think it would be uneeded as the miscellaneous forum could just hold these threads or for another reason?
Perhaps for Sports, just have "Baseball News", "Soccer News", etc, which will be updated with any news of said Sport, rather than having 20 new Threads a day.
I havn't seen any book reviews yet, but i'm sure some could be pretty good. Movie reviews would work nicely too.
Sports be a kinda issue with this forum as there's always news on sports everyday. But the set rules would help with that.
I agree completley, cause I can find enough on celebritys elsewhere. As compared to movies and books of that sort you don't find much on them so the forum be usefull to discuss them.
Maybe even book reviews etc.
Yes, if Hull likes the idea then i'm sure he'll make it in some spare time. I'm not expecting him to drop all plans just for this though.
But as long as you put down restrictions on what can be posted and the forum is monitored closely or about average it should be good.
If we got the CE Forum after only a short wait, or what I think was a short wait, and if enough users want it, aside from us who are annoyed by it not being here, then it might be made... Oh, and if Hull has time.
