Well, I was in Wal*Mart the other day and I decided to go to the ekectronic section. I saw a 3DS stand and played it, because I hate shopping and I was bored. Later, I asked my dad if I could buy a 3DS with my own money and he said "Sure, do whatever you want with your money." I went back to the 3DS stand, and my dad was there. When he figured out I was playing a 3DS he said "No. This thing'll give you eye problems and migranes. I get a headache just looking at it!"
I replied "Ok. It gives you headaches. But it doesn't bother me. Plus, you can turn off the 3D."
That made thing more difficult. He then said "If you can turn off the 3D then why buy one?" Then my sister butted in and said something that changed his mind. Then he saw the price. He told me "Ok, you can buy one, but wait till the price drops. They always drop 'em, just wait 5 years." I was getting really annoyed, I said, talking slowly, "Dad. The price already dropped. It was $250. Now it's $170. I can afford it now."
He then said "What?! $250?! No, that's too much money for a piece of 3D plastic!" I correceted him. Then he said "You can buy it after our trip to Disney World." I said "I was planning on doing that." But then he said "And after you research all the problems with it, like headaches!" Then my sister said "I think the buttons wear out!" I said "I've live with two broken buttons on my DSi and a screwy button on my DS. I can handle it."
I'll be getting one the next time I go to Wal*Mart in September! ...Hopefully...
Lol, the buttons on the 3DS don't wear out like the dsi's xD The dsi is plastic, the 3DS isn't. 3DS is more metal material and it may contain some chemicals. The dsi doesn't
