Homestuck is an online comic started around three years ago, and is based out of a site called MSPaintAdventures.com.
As tthe name suggests, the entire web comic is made using MS Paint, along with the occasional flash games and animations.
Over the past three years, the comic has gained a very loyal and very vocal fanbase.
The story is what makes the comic what it is. The creator of Homestuck is indeed a genius, as he has crafted one of the most complicated and mind wrenching tales ever. It makes "2001: A Space Odessey" look like a look like a children's novel. It's the ridiculous.
The story is accompanied by brilliant character dialouge, a ridiculously robust vocabulary, sharp, witty humor, and coupious amounts cursing.
Although some may be turned away by the cursing, may of the comic's more comedic scenes often involve swearing.
The most prominent thing about Homestuck is it's immense range of vocabulary worlds. Common are words such as sylladex, abjure, abscond, strife, and many more. Of you read Homestuch I highly suggest keeping a dictionary next to you at all times.
In conclusion, I give Homestuck a full 10/10. The entire experience that is provided using such a simple software and a bit of imagination is mind boggling.
I highly reccomend this comic to older teens of DSiPaint, as much of the humor involves wit, which may not be picked up as well by younger people.
Homestuck is a VERY long running title and has thousands of pages, dozens of games and hundreds of animations. It's also very addicting. You've been warned.
My patron troll is Vriska.
I have been reading it since may of this year, still am not completely caught up but I skipped to some of the more recent updates so I don't get bombarded with spoilers on tumblr
