Twice every year, a walk is held to raise money to cure juvenile diabetes. Juvenile/Type-1 diabetes is a form of diabetes where a person's body creates no insulin at all. Insulin is a substance that turns sugar into energy your body can use. This year, my family and I are participating. Our group is known as Caitlyn's Cavalry. This year's goal is to raise $500 and, hopefully, much more. This walk means a lot to my family because my sister caitlyn is ailed with type-1 diabetes and, we feel we need to do anything in our power to help. I hope you feel this way also.
