10 years since the fateful day. Four planes, two U.S. landmarks, one big tragedy.
The ceremonies held under the new Tower One, the first of what I've been told could be four towers, were very emotional for many, especially the people who read the names of their loved ones on national television.
A very sad day indeed, BUT- Yes, but- the threat is not over. I've been reading the Wii News, and officials have apparently been tracking a possible threat from al-Qaida tied to today.
"The terror network has long sought to attack the U.S. again, and Obama advisor John Brennan says the latest information is specific and from a credible source... Investigators have chased a tip that al-Qaida may have sent three men to the U.S. on a mission to detonate a car bomb in either Washington or New York." -Wii News
Despite this, memorial services have continued, showing that America will stand its ground. It is not surprising that people have taken precautions today to decrease their chances of falling victim to another attack.
The Towers were a great loss to America, along with the 2,977 people who died.
