“Hey Grace! Gosh, YOU sure look different!”
I smiled. Yup, you bet I did.
Natelie opened the door further and motioned for me to come inside. I smiled and walked into the living room. Everyone stopped and stared at me for a second.
Amber’s mouth gaped open.
Tim looked blank.
Sean stopped whispering to Carissa and raised his eyybrows.
I was making QUITE a sensation.
Everyone gradually resumed their chatter, and Amber bounded up to me.
“Omigosh! You are actually WEARING the clothes I gave you!!”
I laughed. “Yeah, I decided I needed a change. I was a little tired of my old self.”
Then came my moment of triumph.
Sean walked up.
“Heey, Grace, you look great. Different…,” He cocked his head a little,”…but great. I like you in red.”
I could feel my heart skip a beat. No, skip FIVE beats! Actually, I didn’t count, I was too busy looking into those gorgeous turquoise eyes of his.
“Haha, thanks Sean.” I tilted my head and flashed him a smile. If I didn’t know any better, I would of said the twinkle in his eye was the light reflecting off my abundance of lip gloss
I felt like I was smiling so big my face would split in two, and then Sean led me to one of the couches to watch the movie Natelie was putting in. We squeezed onto the crowded sofa, and I felt Sean's muscular arm slip around me.
I felt like the queen of the world, at that moment. All Sean's secret admirers looked green with envy, and a few even tossed their heads and acted like they didn't care.
But I knew they would kill me to get their hands on him.
Can't say I wouldn't either, though.
But my time cuddling close to Sean on the couch during the movie was half spoiled by the glances I kept taking at Tim.
He was sitting silently on the arm of the sectional, one leg bent at the knee and the other carelessly hanging off the front. He was leaning back, his arms crossed over his chest, and although he was looking at the TV screen, I could tell he wasn't watching the movie.
"Well, I guess everyone is just jealous of my happiness," I selfishly thought.
But I'd only wish I'd known what Tim was really thinking. Because it might of surprised me.
(Please comment! Even if it's just to say where you think the story is going, I read every little juicy bit of review ya'll put on here! Like, 10 times! Please don't make me get desperate and review my own story! Thanks for what you've put so far!)
It's good. It's not as good as my romance story about a lone wolf who falls in love with a teenage boy except the boy's actually a vampire and then they both go off to a school of magic called PigVerrucas and fight a guy called Moldywart.
It's getting there though
One complaint, I hate when people write "Would of" or "Should of" because it's HAVE, not OF. People write "Should of" because it sounds a bit like "Should've" which is an abbreviation of "Should have."
The name for the book? I made it up. You might realize soon why i's named that. And thanks! I take it your a guy. It's flattering to know a dude likes my romance story!

i usually dont like this type of books either @kingpin
which means your doing good job. although, i can guess what will happen next, but this one could be foreshadowing multiple events that could happen so im probably wrong. stupid lack of evidence!
ok a couple of things I'm liking it so far, you are a really good writer/author cuz i usually hate these type of books.
By the way where'd you get the name?
