My night was so boring
It's 3 oclock in the morning
I can hear the family snoring
I need to get up and go exploring
I walk along the streets
Listening to some beats
I hear someone weeping
But there's only people sleeping
It's almost 4 in the morning
Suddenly it starts pouring
I head back home
Hear the buzzing of a phone
The door slams shut behind me
Darkness is all I see
Wrapped in a blanket of fear
Screaming is all I hear
Lights flicker on
Darkness is gone
But now I'm walking down a horror cooridor
I'm in a nightmare
Shadows walk on the walls
I start running down the halls
I start to shout
I need to get out
I open a wooden door
Bodies lay all over the floor
Then I see a clown
He smiles and I frown
Machette in his hand
Bloddy lips smile with evil intent
He starts to run at me
How can this be
This must be a dream
I start to scream
I awake with a fright
It's no longer night
Sweat pouring from my face
My heart catches pace
I scratch my head
And crawl out of bed
The fear continues to loom
I head to the bathroom
Rinse my face in the sink
I rub my eyes and start to blink
I look in the mirror
And there stands my fear
Standing right in front of me
How can this be
I head for the door
But it's there no more
Then I fall to the floor
And I know I'll be no more
