Hello SDK. Since I'm not as active on this site as I once was,, I decided to write a blog series. About what, you may ask? Well, about Snacks. Snacks are a wonderful part of everyone's life, I hope. You have one when you come home from school, you have one before dinner, after dinner, and during dinner. You can have one in you sleep. Snacks keep us filled up, but no too filled up. But what classifies as a snack? Anything that can be eaten in small quantities, and is filling enough. For example, dirt cannot be a snack, since it's fit for worms, not us. And a slab of meat can't be a snack, because you feel positively fat after eating one.
So in this blog series, I will discuss and rate a snack once a week. It'll be on a random day, but will be once a week.
And yes, This blog series was inspired by the Podcast series Mike And Tom Eat Snacks.
This week, I'm going to enjoy a family favorite snack. Oreo Cookies. But as I browse my local grocery store, I find a treasure. I find the Oreos. But...the packaging was quite different. It had a green twist. The text read "Mint Flavored!". I almost shouted on the spot, for, I simply love Mint. As I rushed to the cash register/shoving people out of my way, my mind was spinning, as this snack must be ultra-delicious. I broke my $5, payed, and raced home.
Getting home, I told the "Easy-Open Sticker" to screw off, and I ripped the package with my bare hands. No, not bear hands, my bare hands. As it opened, an aroma filled the room. Mint. And lots of it. I take a few Oreos. The Oreo looked the same as it ever has been. The same ridges, chocolate, and look. But it smelled quite different, and the inside where the cream was was green! As I smell the heck out of the cookie sandwiches, I almost faint. All I smell is chocolate and mint, and That is a godly combination. After cherishing the smell for another 5 minutes, I take one faithful bite.
As I chew, my mind takes a faithful journey into the trippy tunnels of mint-flavoring. Im taken aback, and as the chocolate mixed and intertwined with the mint cream, I scream with pleasure. I have fallen in love. I didn't know Pre-packaged food could be so good! But as I take the second bite...I'm feeling...disheartened. I mean, it's wonderful, but now the mint is overpowering the chocolate, and I'm feeling...thirsty. I feel as though I have been in a desert for days. Refusing to take a swig of milk, I finish off three cookies. Now, at this point, my lips are dry, my breath smells like Christmas, and there's chocolate ALL OVER MY TEETH. Even now, I'm picking at my teeth. I would never kiss my mother with this mouth! But, let's see how the rating goes...
Now, I will rate this snack on a scale of 0-10. All things considered, I rate these Mint-Flavored Cookies a 8.25. For they are delicious and everything nice, the mint was quite overpowering. I bought Oreos, not peppermint sticks. And they made my breath smell like complete Poo-Poo, and that never will impress the ladies! Unless they were...really fat, and were in the mood for Mint-flavored Oreos...but I digress. And being me, I'm too lazy to brush my teeth unless it's morning/night. So this completely ruins my day! But, still, 8.25 is a pretty decent score, and I would probably have this snack again.
So SDK, give me your feedback, and please suggest a new snack that I should try. And make sure it falls under the criteria of snacks!

I have to agree with you the mint is over-powering, also 8.25 is excatly what I would rate it. I would also like you to try Little Debbies™ Brownies with sprikles (there my favorite) and I would like to see a score from you on it. Good job, keep it up.
