Here's the beef about fast food: Some say it's good and some say it's bad. There has been an ongoing conflict over it for years from health issues. In fact, there has been government involvement in it as well, *coughHappyMealIncidentcough*.

Wait, what was the Happy Meal incident about? Back in 2010 (Yes, it's old news), San Francisco banned Happy Meals due to being what they considered too unhealthy. This was supposed to help the issue of growing out in addition to growing up. There are a few major issues in doing this ban: One, it's none of the government's business to regulate what people eat. Two, it takes away business from the fast food restaurants involved. And three, it takes away from the happiness of the Happy Meal.

Another big deal in the fast food battle is excessive propaganda. You know, the people who claim fast food is made with odd animal parts or rejected meat. You can claim all you want, but do you have a backing to your claim? Check where your information is coming from. If it's from a friend, where did he get it? If it's from a website, is it some extreme site?

A common stereotype is that people who eat fast food are more on the corpulent side. Obviously stereotypes don't always define everyone correctly, but is this true for the majority? From my standpoint, looking around fast food restaurants I've been to over the past months, it appears otherwise. I've noticed people, and so few of them were actually very hefty. Take a look for yourself.

I'm not putting a message out there that fast food is healthy, it isn't always. And don't go to your favorite drive through every day. But there is so much propaganda against fast food, so there you have some balance (pun not intended).
