This is part of a song I wrote when my friend told me about his struggles with suicidal thoughts and his depression. I wrote it because poetry and songs are how I vent my emotion, and this one has probably the most emotion behind then any other poem or song I've ever written.
For Me
The rain on the window looks like,
you're face, when you cry.
And your eyes when you think something scary,
cloud over like the sky.
And your head when you feel so hopeless,
is like a tree bending in the wind.
You're smile when you have to force it,
looks like the sunlight that can't break in.
Oh my worst fear,
my worst thought,
my worst dream,
that really gets me scared.
Is waking up
to the day
without you
being there.
I can't sleep at night,
when I think,
of the desperate call you might make!
I can shut my eyes,
when I think,
of the hopeless action you might take!
I can't lay still,
when I think,
of you making a bad mistake!
And I can't hold the tears back when I think,
of how then it'd be to late.
So if you can't find a reason a reason not to,
Then at least don't do it for me.
I try my best to make you,
laugh just a little bit.
But no matter how tightly I hug you,
I can tell that you're just sick of it.
Oh my worst fear,
my worst thought,
my worst dream,
that really gets me scared.
Is waking up
to the day
without you
being there.
I can't sleep at night,
when I think,
of the desperate call you might make!
I can shut my eyes,
when I think,
of the hopeless action you might take!
I can't lay still,
when I think,
of you making a bad mistake!
And I can't hold the tears back when I think,
of how then it'd be to late.
So if you can't find a reason a reason not to,
Then at least don't do it for me.
FOF YOU!? hell no thats for me B.
FOF YOU!? hell no thats for me B.
