Honestly. I think Silent Hill lost its touch. Downpour will be coming out in March, as well as the HD Collection. First off, Silent Hill isn't even scary anymore. They should leave the Japanese continue with it, they started the series first. They know how to make a good Survival Horror than us. That's how they were successful from the games 1-4. I'm not counting Homecoming. Its scary, and it is a good game and insane story, but it had relations to the movie, with the Order Members. That religious cult. The movie was made here, cuz Konami let them. It was a good movie, had every song from the games, and monsters. Alessa was in the game. But the movie had one stupid thing- It had NO relation to the game. And so ppl watched it and had no idea it was a game. Dude, its on the BEGINNING and the CREDITS it will tell you if you didn't know. Ppl also thought the movie came first. No it didn't. The game did, and the game is the real story. Although the games arent connected, but they're in SOME way. SH1 and 3 are very very connected. SH2 and 4 are somewhat connected. James, the main protagonist of SH2, his father is in SH4. Plus, you hear detail about the guy, Walter Sullivan, in SH2. Its entirely about him, as the antagonist, for SH4.
Now Shattered Memories, was a failure in my opinion. Its a good game, but its not like the first one at all. You do realize, if you played it on the wii, its a remake of the first one? All that happened in Shattered Memories is ABSOLUTELY NOT what happened in the first one. You better play the first one if you wanna know what happened. If you can't find it, play SH3, because halfway thru the game will explain everything that happened in the first one.
Origins was a game most ppl got just cuz it was on PSP and had good graphics. Actually what they didn't know, Origins takes place BEFORE the first one. That game will explain how Alessa started out. THATS the real story.

Now I'm a hardcore Silent Hill fan. I'm obsessed with it. So I basically know everything about it. Any questions?
If you don't know this at all and not interested, don't even bother with it. If you wanna get interested, good for you :3
It is a great story. Its very complex.


But they really need to like, let ppl know the real parts of it...

Also, fans need to stop askin for Pyramid Head to be in the newer ones. He doesn't belong in them. That's James' Manifestation monster.
