=========================
1)Cortex Command
-this game is a sidescrolling shooter where you have to defend your severed brain from enemies who want to destroy you, while mining for gold to purchase more bodies to do your bidding. first, you build a base to house your brain case or brain robot. then you choose a soldier type, his weapons, tools, and arrival craft, then take control of him to fight attackers who will enter the combat via dropships and rockets (all destroyable. awww yeah.). you can order multiple soldiers and set their AI to defend, patrol, or dig for gold (if properly equipped). that's just a skirmish defense, which are infinite. that's right, INFINITE. play 'till you lose. controls are a bit difficult to get the hang of at first, but they get easier as you keep playing. a large part of the physics of this game is that corpses don't go away. they remain, and you'll have to either shoot through the piles or go over them. this makes it very easy to create choke points--just clog a hallway with enemies. vehicles also leave debris, and an exploding dropship is frag city. a flying dropship bay door has killed many a soldier of mine. weapons are detailed, and many. grenade launchers, assault rifles, shotguns--and some less conventional ballistic tools-- keep the combat exciting, though enimies with flak cannons can be very annoying. (you'll get it when you try it. ;P)
-okay, now my praises of the game.
F**K YEAH. this game is incredible. the combat, strategy, and semi-realistic physics are amazingly good. explosions feel much more dangerous than in other games, because frag fires out of every one like bullets.
