I thought it just took him minutes to text, but after 30 minutes passed the house phone ringed. Candy went to answer it. “ NewNew!” Candy said running in my room with a sad face and in shock. “ What, What is it?” “ Its Daniel.” “ What about Daniel?”
I began to get scared. “ He got in a car accented.” “WHAT!” I grabbed my shoes and Candy did too. We get in the car. “ What hospital is he in?” “Northeast Hospital.” “I know where that’s at.” I drive to the hospital and go to the counter. Candy does the talking. “ Thanks.” Said Candy. “ Come on lets go.” “ What room is he in Candy?” “ He in room 712.” We arrive and there he was watching football on the hospital TV. “ Hey, baby what happen, are you okay?” I asked a lot of questions. He answered all of the questions. Before I knew it, it was time to go home. Candy and I headed home. By the time we made it home it was 5:25am. Mom was home also. “ Where have yall been?” “ We been at the hospital mom.” “Why Carrington?” “ One of me and Atlanta friend got into an accented.” “ Get upstairs you to now!” We go upstairs and fall to sleep. * Beep, Beep, Beep* I stop the alarm. “ Carrington wake up.” “ Move, NewNew!” “ Its, time for school.” Carrington and I get dressed for school. We throw on our book bag and head to the bus stop. When we arrived at school Daniel or Recess was there. I felt bad cause I caused both of them not to be here. I was waiting for De’ Anthony to ask where Daniel was, but he looked at me like he knew already. “ Hey, De’ Anthony.” “ Hey, NewNew.” “ So….ummm….
