Hello everybody, once again. 
I've been wanting to say some things to you all about a theory I had. But I've been too distracted with the lover's quarrel between me and Lexi, and spending most of my time writing songs and poetry as a young depression slowly starts to consume me. 

Society. Our greatest creation, yet our greatest weakness. We all love together as a society, basically concluding that we live under the illusion that we simply must try to impress it. 
People no longer know how to think for themselves. They no longer have the desire to tell society to shut up when they reach a ridiculous hypotheses, and instead follow like sheep. 
I've noticed things on the news, and this is why I don't watch the news anymore, a scientist will pop up and say a blatant lie about a problem, and people are either too stupid or just plain lazy, actually BELIEVE them. "He is wearing a white coat, so he must always be right" WRONG! 

Society. 
We need to start detaching ourselves from it. We need to start living like we did back in the 50's. We need to band together as a thousand minds in a big body, not one mind in a thousand bodies. Because in the road we are in, we will end up destroying ourselves, there will be a big steaming pile of poop flying Mach 3 towards a fan. 

They say great minds think alike. But I think greater minds think for themselves...

You should include real examples to make your point more relevant. Society won't go backwards though.

Correct. Science proves nothing; it tests hypotheses to DISPROVE what is invalid. By process of elimination, scientists accept theories until something better arrives through another scientist's research. What we all accept as discoveries today may be overridden by new discoveries in the future.

The only way I can know how the world works is through other people telling me, be it directly or indirectly.

And in the end, if someone has qualifications and experience in what they're talking about, chances are they're correct.

But i agree with some of what you said, people today are just a bunch of sheeps controlled by the media and by idiotic tendencies, 90% lack the intelligence to deal with that and are dominated by the other 10% which are actually smarter, but thats the law, right? The stronger people (smarter) dominates the weaker people (the masses).


The problem is that so much of science is politicized to gain government funding. Just read this list without having any blatant biases in your mind: climate change, evolution, stem cell research, alternative fuels, pharmaceuticals, medical marijuana. Politicians are good at dividing people to lead them like sheep to be sheared of their taxable wool. About 90% of each topic I mentioned has a solid foundation in science, but don't let the facts get in the way of the "facts".

For instance: Did you know that embryonic stem cells have never cured any disease? They are always rejected by the recipient and become tumorous. Placental stem cells have promise when frozen at birth. Adult stem cells have already cured diseases in clinical trials. Politicians just like to inject embryonic stem cells into the debate because they can merge it with rhetoric on abortion.
