Hello ladies and gentlemen.

As you probably have heard is Nintendo said they would pach shortcut exploits in Mario Kart 7. The patch was released May 15th or 16 (Sorry, I don't know when it was released!). It patches shortcuts exploits on the following 3 tracks: The Infamous Maka Wuhu, Wuhu Loop, and Bowser's Castle 1.

How to get the patch:

Step 1: Turn your 3DS on. (Duh)

Step 2: Go to the Nintendo eShop

Step 3: You will be prompted to update your 3DS.

Step 4: After updating turn your 3DS back on.

Step 5: Go back on to the eShop.

Step 6: At the bottom you should see a Mario Kart 7 icon. Click on it.

Step 7: Click tap to purchase and wait while it downloads.

Step 8: Go on to Mario Kart 7. If done correctly on the button to play online it should say 1.1 on it.

Step 9: Sit back, relax, and enjoy people not cheating online.

The patch is not needed to play offline, but if you haven't played online yet you should try!
