So today I tried three different brands of chocolate spread.
-Tesco 'Everyday Value' chocolate spread.
-Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate spread
-Nutella.
For those of you who live across the sea from me, Tesco is a large supermarket chain, similar to Walmart.
I spread each variety onto a slice of Tesco 'Stay Fresh' white medium-sliced bread.
My thoughts-
Tesco 'Everyday Value' chocolate spread
While initially tasty, this chocolate spread harbours a slightly artificial aftertaste, which ultimately detracts from the experience. It is not as thick as some chocolate spreads, and consequently you must be more careful not to spill any, as it drips faster than most.
The colour is a fairly pleasant warm chocolate brown.
Despite the bad reputation which inevitably goes with Tesco Value products, this was a pleasant enough spread.
Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate spread
Despite its reputation as a specialised chocolate company, Cadbury's chocolate spread disappointingly shared the same subtle artificial taste which the Tesco Value one sported.
It was ever so slightly greener in colour than Tesco's entry, and just a tad paler. Less 'warm chocolate brown' and more 'diarrhoea.'
Its texture is fairly thick in comparison with the previous spread.
Nutella
Nutella is truly a spread fit for a king. It sublime elegance and grace are matched only by its regal sense of nobility. The refined and perfected flavours of this particular concoction intermingle and combine most pleasingly in the mouth, proving to be an exquisite sensation to tantalise your tastebuds.
Its colour is a deep, transfixing brown, and its texture is perfect to unlock the chocolatey juices within one's mouth.
The combination of flavours and their harmony with each other is frankly staggering. The sheer wonder of this marvellous creation is beyond the fathoming of the human intellect.
So concludes my totally unbiased product comparison.
