The Phillipines were discovered by Spanish Explorers meaning it was once ruled by the Spanish. Because of this,the language, Tanglog, consists with a few spanish words. During World War II, America fought in battle on the Phillipines side.

The language Filipinos use is called Tanglog. It is a phrase-based language, meaning how the words are used are VERY VITAL to saying it right.
