Once apon a time, there was a man named Ben Gray. Mr. Gray was studying video game design at a school and he just happened to have a 3ds as well. When Swapnote came out, Ben looked through the stationary. There, he saw something that would change Swapnote forever. The grid stationary. Ben's nerd hormones kicked in and he found a way to play table top rpgs via Swapnote. He called it Swapnote RPG. He created sheets to keep track of his dungeons and progression and whent to test it out. After he did so, he posted it on the internet. Which is where I found it, and I'm sharing it with you.

Stuff you need:
1. 3ds
2. Swapnote
4. Paper and a pencil(preffered, but optional)
5. At least one die (any number of sides will do, if you want be hardcore you should get 50,000,000 of all kinds of dice)
6. Friends to play with

DMs (D&D experience prefered):
The DM, or dungeon master, will be in charge of everything. The DM creates a dungeon, and then sends out an introduction note. Nothing much, just something like "Welcome to Swapnote RPG." and then list some classes with their stats, skills, and items. Then he does DM stuff by sending an introductory paragragh (what got the player to that point, what the room looks like, etc.) the next page is a map of the first room (use graph stationary, 5 play coins). Then the player takes his turn. If an attack is used then you roll the dice. You also control the monsters and stuff.(you also control the attacks of the monsters)

Players:
The player controls their character. All skills are created by the DM, you can also do a normal attack which is the weapon. You have to tell the DM everything you do. You should also probably draw the room and where you go.

I would like for anyone with D&D to try and explain this better.

*Note: You can also play games like Chess or tick tack toe.
