I always dreamed that this day would come and now that it's here I'm SO excited!!! I finally asked my Dad if I could audition for x factor and he said yes!!! I remember every detail!!! Me and my Dad were in A&P and he noticed I wasn't talking much so he asked me why I wasn't myself. I told him I was thinking and he asked me what I was thinking about. It took me a minute to put my thoughts into words. So as me and my Dad entered the candy isle I just let it all out to him. I said "Dad can I ask you a question?" He was like "Sure what?" he said as he was arranging the soda in our cart. I said "Dad I know this would be a long time away but could I audition for x factor next year?" Back to December by Taylor Swift was playing on the radio. He said "If your sure you want to do this it's fine with me.". Those words surprised me. I would never imagine my Dad saying that. As I asked him it just felt like so unreal. So unbelievable. It felt like my whole world turned upside down in a good way. After that I had realized that just because those 20 seconds of insane courage I changed my life. So next year if your watching x factor, look for a girl named Jessica Lopez. That's me. I know half of you won't care about this but it meant so much to me so just keep it to yourself. All I need to do now is find out what song to sing for my audition. One girl from dsi paint I forget her name suggested for me to sing The Climb by Miley Cyrus. That was such an amazing idea! I can't thank her enough for that. She also gave me some helpful advice.
