Hello fellow SDK people. There's a matter I'd like to disscuss with everybody. Have you heard of the book called "Animal Farm"? Or the famous Pink Floyd's album "Animals"? Those two works of art have one thing in common: they put us in a special point of veiw. The animals represent us as everyday people. There are 3 types: Pigs, Sheep, and Dogs. Pigs are selfish rulers, such as the government. Sheep are the ones tricked by the pigs and they follow the pig because the pigs feed them but rob them blind. The dogs are the smartest. The dogs try to lead the sheep away from the pigs. They also chase and attack (and dream of killing) the pigs.
The sheep are blinded, told by the pigs that the sheppard(God) does not exist. The dogs(man's best friend) are loyal followers of the sheppard. The dogs try to attack the pigs so that they can give the sheppard back his sheep. Sometimes, however, a sheep gets in between the dog and the pig. Those sheep get bitten. But not badly hurt.
Please read " Animal Farm" or listen to "Animals"(I'll post lyrics later) to better understand this. For those who do, tell me what animal are you: Dog or Sheep.
never read the book but the album is very good
they try to represent the english society comparing them to animals, composing the image that ppl are nothing more than animals, each type with a role to play in the farm.
All the songs are very well composed too, just press play and let yourself go.
