As the sun's burning rays
Has wept apon the cold earthy flats
And the mists steal in the way

A dark nocturnal life
Has every right to be seen
Her eyes are full with adolescent strife

The sky turns black
When ambered daylights are done
Its beings hearken to the sound
Of restless times to become..

Now I see a dark silhouette
Curious and silvered are its
Eyes like the sunset

And the dark draws in beside her
As we embrace the night
Side by side
What a most graceous of sights
All above opens up wide..

Now the stars gleam so pale
With the sweet scent of asphoetida
As it creates a sudden yearn
We are too dumb to learn..
