Hello, everyone. This is my very first blog in the technology category, so I hope you all enjoy it.
The bit of technology I'd like to cover today is fire.
What is fire? I didn't pay much attention during this section in chemistry class, but I have a very hazy memory of hearing the words fire and plasma in the same sentence or possibly just the same day. The point is that my mind formed a connection between the two words, and so now I'm saying fire is a plasma.
Going on with that, I've heard ghosts leave behind a substance known as "ectoplasm". I take the similarity between those two words to mean fire is a ghost. But fire is also hot, which means fire is a hot ghost.
Now, fire is really an amazing thing. Since the start of its use, the hot ghost has made great contributions to mankind in various fields ranging from increasing the availability of food, to helping surive the winter, to technological advancements that have greatly improved the quality of life. In fact, I suggest keeping a fire in ones house at all times.
Fire is a great thing, but don't forget that it is still a ghost. If you upset fire then it will unleash its awesome fury upon us all. Historically, fire has been one of the largest sources of chaos and destruction ever. So we must appease fire through song, dance, and offerings. A good way to please fire is to light something on fire once a day. The more life the object has, the more pleased fire will be. If keeping a fire around to make your offerings with doesn't sit well with you, then just make your way to your nearest volcano at least once a month and toss in whatever you feel will make fire happiest.
Fire's biggest enemies are firemen and the Ghost Busters because they put out and trap fire's friends and family. Now, firemen are brave hardworking people, so we can let them slide on that, but if you see a Ghost Buster then I advise you to quickly make your offering to fire on the spot.
