Hello everybody! -Kermit the Frog face-
I wanted to explain how this "frosted glass" effect works.
The transparent effect is actually an illusion. The body background, the table headers, and the Navbar... All different backgrounds.
First off, the body background is given a background with a fixed attachment. Easy enough? Then comes the best part... To the element you want "glassy", assign the same background with the same attachment, and you will have a clear "transparent" element.
Now for the blur effect, that is a bit difficult... I am working on a php object that will easily assist making a blurry image from a chosen photo, and saving it on a file from my website, so that you can easily accomplish this, but for now, you can either use any of c-3ds.com's backgrounds (Blurry versions are the same file name, except there is _blur right before .jpg), or you can make your own blur with Photoshop or Gimp.
If all is done right (you may have to use !important markers), you will have a seemingly advanced CSS design created from a simple CSS code. I hope you enjoy!
