Hello, I'm starting my new series today. XAMMP is a basic free website hosting software, where you can publish your website onto your network, and use your computer as the main system to host your website, there are multiple ways that XAMMP can be used. Dedicated servers mostly use XAMMP and over 60% on average use XAMMP to host their websites. However, XAMMP does not create your site, it just hosts it, let's say for an example, I have made a basic PHP webpage and want my network to view it. You would then drag it into your "htdocs" folder and XAMMP would detect this is the main webpage. When adding a main page, or hosting just one page. Make sure to rename your main page to "index.php" if it's coded in PHP or "index.html" depending on what code you used to create the page. You can download XAMMP from their official website. Idealy search Google for "apache freinds" for their main website.
