I spent about a week trying to write this. I kept starting and immediately quiting because I can't stand poetry, but with Halloween already here I had to just push on through today.

It's last minute, but here it is. A BanMan Halloween:

Boys and girls,
it's that time of year
when we put on our costumes
and spread some holiday cheer.

But with each passing day,
we grow a little bit older
And more and more people
give you the cold shoulder.

Why does this happen?
Why's it so breezy?
It's because an old little Mermaid
is a little bit creepy.

But what can we do?
It's all that we planned.
Well the answer is simple;
learn more about BanMan.

BanMan is great
He's absolutely fantastic
His first name is Awesome
and his mood is gelastic.

When BanMan is online
the users behave.
He's an excellent citizen,
bold, honest, and brave.

BanMan loves his country
He helps his fellow men
Yes, he's a boyscout,
but then again...

Deep in the night,
after hours of gaming,
he prepares to set out
for a night full of screaming

After fighting a bear,
just like Teddy Roosevelt,
he chases new victims
while wearing the beast's pelt

He steals candy from babies
and sneaks into nursing homes
to scare the old people
and break their lawn gnomes

What's really surprising
and will give you a fright
is that he doesn't even know it's Halloween
He just does this every night.

When the sun comes back up
and breakfast is nigh
BanMan returns home
to enjoy some blueberry pie

So this Halloween
when you have nothing to do
just be ever grateful
that BanMan is not after you
