Since the dawn of life, all animals capable of grasping the idea of using tools to achieve goals have always relied on creating and making use of technology. No species on earth is so oustandingly brilliant in this area as mankind.

Despite the popular idea among many(cynical jackasses), the human race is far from stupid, wicked, and evil.

We are an amazing species fully capable of committing terrifying monstrous destruction through weapons of unimaginably devastating strength and scale, while retaining the absolute deepest sense of care and love for not only our fellow mankind but for each and every last spec of life.

It's true there are few who devote their lives entirely to the cause of helping others purely out of the good of their hearts, but they do still exist, and that shows something good about people; we are capable of living and working for the sake of each other's well being and happiness.

While our use of technology was only spawned through a need to survive, we have since used that ability to survive and create technology to move beyond just being the unquestionably dominant species on earth and into a society where we don't go day to day just trying to get by. We can relax without much worry of danger. We can put our minds at ease and drop our load of stress. We can sit and just let things work their way. We can breath a sigh of relief. Because of technology.

I'm sure you know what I hinted at in the title by now. You know the toilet is the greatest piece of technology ever. It embodies the human spirit.

The use of tools is the invention of the toilet. The need to survive is our wait for the bathroom. The terrible things we do are our waste. The helpful technology of world is our toilet paper. And our comfortable lifestyles are our relief of having done our "business" in a safe quiet place.

The next time you struggle to pinch out a loaf, remember what you're on and what you're doing is the very essence of technology and life itself
