Quoth The Infamousquote]Nice blog, but that wii mini sounds like crap, or one of those cheap ass mini arcade games that 3 year olds play with. Here, a damn wii is $149 including mario kart wii, im assuming the console alone would be $99 xD so why a Wii mini when all they have to do is lower the price off the original? in Canada o_O

Also, a bit of your info is lacking. Nintendo sold a combined total of 700,000 between its Wii and Wii U systems. And if you take into account the numerous people on the various Wii U waitlists at gaming retailers, the only reason why Nintendo didn't get at least equal with big ol' MS is due to simple stocking issues. The 360 is old, they have warehouses full. No stock issues, see. Your Wii U system is fresh off the grill.
And of course, that big old 700,000 doesn't factor in DS and 3DS handheld units sold.
And the 3DS is about to surpass the PS3 in total lifetime sales in Japan. I really don't think Nintendo is feeling too much pain right now.
